You probably don't know Halston Sage or even her name, and if you do, you either have a remarkable understanding of Hollywood performers under the age of 35 or you've seen enough episodes of The Orville to recall her. Being born in Los Angeles, the city of Hollywood itself, on May 10, 1993, it's understandable that Halston Sage went on to become an actress. Her family had five children, including an older brother and a younger sister. It's fair to say that Halston isn't a "Nepo baby actress" in the same way that some contemporary actors are, given that her parents were never employed in the entertainment business.
However, even though Halston's parents aren't well-known performers, writers, producers, or musicians, they were still encouraging of her desire to be an actress, and their love of the arts undoubtedly contributed to that support. Happily for Halston, her parents are not the sort who place a high priority on education and wouldn't be proud of their daughter until she has a doctorate, thus she was never under any pressure to excel in school in order to gain their support. The aforementioned high school plays that she regularly participated in, along with the favorable comments she received for her performances, inspired her to pursue a career in acting, which she learned organically rather than through traditional acting schools or specialized programs.

It wasn't really difficult for Sage to start looking into the entertainment sector, notably Hollywood, given that she resided in Los Angeles. Her involvement in The Orville was brief, since she only appeared in the first season of the program. She portrayed Brooke Shy, a college student and member of the boisterous sorority that moves into the house next to a suburban couple, in Neighbors. The movie was a commercial success, which gave her portfolio as an actress another remarkable addition, even though the role itself wouldn't require much of her in terms of performance. Her character exhibited a wide range of emotional depth and grounding, suggesting that Sage may one day become an Oscar-caliber performer. Halston portrayed Lindsay Edgecomb, a well-liked but severely flawed high school kid, in the 2017 film Before I Fall, which was released two years later. Before I Fall examines themes of regret, friendship, and redemption, while also giving Halston another chance to demonstrate her expanding repertoire of performing abilities. Halston became a true, well-known Hollywood star after her role in Before I Fall.
The caliber of Sage's latest work is remarkable.
Halston's acting resume has grown throughout the past few years of the 2010s to include even more significant parts in blockbuster films and popular TV programs. Since Halston Sage is still accepting new and difficult roles, there is no question that she will continue to be a major presence in Hollywood and may even be nominated for an Academy Award in the future.
