It's a simple way for you to determine exactly what your other character will become after their transition, and it's a bloody helpful little piece of information, since your transitioning character is crucial to the gameplay.
Perhaps if you believe it to be later in the game. Or it might occur immediately. Like it did to me. Pay close attention to your transformed figure because you'll be using them more than you realize!
The game has a dated feel.
The game, however, seems a little old when you're playing X-Change. I'm not discussing the graphics. Those are perfectly acceptable. The GIFs that play in between the scenes are a nice touch as well. They don't appear to be of particularly low quality or of poor quality, either.
All the words you'll be reading in X-Change are made a bit more interesting by the GIFs that separate each scene. It's a text adventure that's also a bit of an adventure game, which is just how it is. But that's not why X-Change seems a little antiquated.
I'm referring to the game's context and specifics, not its gameplay. For instance, at the start of my exploits in X-Change, I visited a mall that had a lot of people and stores. Because malls are more or less dead in many areas of the world, that is really out of date. Probably not where you live, but in most places.
However, the majority of the time it is unavoidable. With the passage of time, the game will become obsolete. Even though the settings and some specifics of a game like X-Change have changed, it's still a blast to play. Over time, the game may become outdated. X-Change may be modified in some minor aspects, which is OK, but it's not a big deal.

I also discovered that there are many different kinds of mini games that you can play while using X-Change. are embarking on your bloody adventure. I went to a shopping mall and spoke with a pharmacist, for instance, immediately after the game started. The pharmacist had a novel experimental magic drug, and I was eager to make the switch right away.
I had to give him head right away after switching! I also played a little game to mimic performing head on him. The wonderful thing about playing X-Change is that there is a fair bit of meta action throughout the game.
