I wasn't particularly excited about checking out AdultEmpire's horror genre, but Lexi Belle's appearance on the first search results page gave me hope that there might be something worthwhile here. I mean, unless I've already made it abundantly obvious, horror porn used to be really boring in the past. It was uninteresting. The only difference between it and other forms of smut was that it purported to be horror-related.

Most of the filth on AdultEmpire is quite depressing, as you might expect given the site's videos are from over two decades ago. terms of giving oneself over to horror values. The entire thing is a joke. The fact that it's a seemingly endless collection of high-quality pornography starring Lexi Belle and others is undeniable, but what are they doing to warrant the horror label? Next to absolutely nothing. The title of the film, for example, makes little mention of anything else; it's simply a typical smut film.

Unable to distinguish between the old and the new
For many years, the horror genre waited patiently to evolve into the sort of smut that producers actually give a damn about. It's not that filmmakers were just sitting around doing nothing for all those years in the past—the porn industry simply wasn't ready for real horror. The risk was too great and the cost was too high. They won't bother with a special effects crew if they know the movie won't be profitable. Fortunately, AdultEmpire offers a large selection of new porn movies, all of which have a higher level of production value. more so than what we were accustomed to in the past.
Unfortunately, it seems that there is no way to classify these films by their release dates. Yes, I tested the full release date area, which seems to allow you to view the most recent films of the week, month, and year. I looked at the new releases and what did I discover? A film from 2008. The date on which these films were uploaded to AdultEmpire is used to list them, not the actual official original release date. This data is utterly worthless. It's as if you went to a computer store to buy a new machine and they showed you a notebook that had just arrived from 1998. Damn, that doesn't make it brand new. Nothing operates in that manner. I detest how difficult it is to categorize these films.

Right now, the best way to get a thorough understanding of these titles is to simply jump in and watch the trailers. The trailers for all of these films provide a fair indication of what to expect. The overall quality of the films is also something I'm pleased with. They are all arriving at their source resolution. I have nothing to whine about about that. The website does a good job of promoting filth generally. What irritates me is the absence of real terror.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
It seems that the first comprehension of horror pornography had something to do with a propensity for parodies of films. I'm not sure why or how. If they just parodied horror films and made an effort to genuinely terrify or, at the very least, frighten, it would make sense. There is at least some fear, but that is not the reality. These films are not frightening. Do you recall the name Lexi Belle that I mentioned earlier? Although she does a great job of getting dicked, the film itself is a satire of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Don't you recall that program? The one that kids liked watching? Although the show was geared towards young teenagers (18+), it was nonetheless boring and not at all frightening. It's a laid-back series all about witches. Additionally, Buffy was a vampire slayer, not a vampire. The title says it all.
What the hell is the Lexi Belle title? The tagline for Buffy XXX is "She sucks, but in a good way. " Additionally, the phrase suggests that Buffy is the vampire, even if it is really awful and uninspired. But, she's not a vampire since she has a stake in the cover shot. Even though I'm probably becoming heated over the least important aspect of smut, when you're managing a themed page on a larger content site, you at least consider the possibility that some people truly care about the topic. This isn't for decoration, is it? The least you can do is treat your work seriously if you want people to pay a lot of money for this filth.

A marketplace, essentially
Having said all of that, these productions are not the direct responsibility of AdultEmpire. They're just selling them. They are a video marketplace, not a pornography production facility. This complicates matters somewhat. In the first place, they are not obligated to provide you with high-quality material because they are not directly involved. All they have to do is provide you the video as they received it. Second, there's the problem of timing. The majority of new porn productions arrive on AdultEmpire on time, shortly after their official release by their studios. The studios appear to be affiliated with AdultEmpire in some way. It's rather easy.
Nonetheless, AdultEmpire makes an effort to control videos from a wider variety of sources that also focus on professional smut, and this is where the apparent contradiction between the site's ostensibly stringent standards and its actual content arises. An unending backlog of ancient films arrives. Thousands of somewhat undiscovered films were produced years ago, but they never really caught on. They simply didn't get the same digital marketing that we provide films now; there was nothing wrong with them. Thus, years after they were released, you wind up seeing them here, alongside the brand-new films that were only released yesterday. This system is terrible.

You Get What You See
This would be quite effective if the two forms of smut were somehow segregated across sections, but they are not. All films are piled up. When it comes to horror pornography, it ends up here as long as the original film stated to have some or any horror in it. If I've ever seen an inferior system, that's it. This has to be addressed, but given how well AdultEmpire is doing, I don't think they care.
Given the breadth of AdultEmpire's offerings and its independence from the creation of the pornography, it is fair to assume that any commentary The quality of the videos is not worth discussing. Simply yelling my ideas out my window or posting them on a porn forum would be more productive. The first porn studios will never be aware of it.

Modern vs. Retro
The earliest kind of horror porn on AdultEmpire is the vintage stuff from about 2010. Given that it's only a decade old, I'm sure I shouldn't refer to it as retro, but what else can I call pornography that? is clearly a whole generation in the past? Last gen? Okay, let's go with that. With a little makeup and overall stage design that conveys the eerie atmosphere, last-generation horror porn alludes to well-known horror films and personalities. This can refer to something old, like Scooby Doo, or something more recent, like The Ring. You get the idea. This is the group to which Buffy XXX belongs.
Conversely, you have more recent versions with lots of special effects and framing. In contrast to the typical pornographic movie cameras, they also employ film cameras. I can recognize the distinction even if I'm not a camera expert. Most pornographic films are filmed using a narrow lens that only captures the activity. They zoom in on the buttholes with the aforementioned lens. It's not quite a cinematic experience. It's more of a display of the genitalia. The film lenses provide a decent wide shot, and when the porn actors are in the shot engaging in frightening talks, they add to the drama. These films do a far better job of promoting the scary aspects, particularly when the craziness begins.

Horny Scare Me
When there is actual exposition, appropriate horror fucking should build on the horror that has already been created rather than discarding it and moving on. on, similar to a typical pornographic movie. It's not a genuine horror film if you start to lose sight of the fact that you're seeing a horror smut film midway through. It's nothing more than a marketing ploy.
The pricing strategy of AdultEmpire adheres to their name and history. Regardless of when they were released, these films are really pricey. According to what I can see, every single film costs more than $10, and some even cost up to $30. Naturally, the rates vary, and you may get a reduction if you just want to watch the movie online rather than download it. Take a look at the costs for yourself. You are expected to pay per video, and it is both outrageous and pricey.
